Clarification on 2 churches in Chicago's Ukr. Village

According reader to ksenia, here is the correct information on the Ukrainian churches mentioned in my post from April 2005.

"Both churches are Ukrainian Catholic (Greek/Byzantine rite). St. Nicholas follows the new calendar while Sts. Volodymyr and Olha follows the old calendar and old Ukrainian traditions."

Thank you ksenia!

Thank you so much for the Ukrainian radio site. My family came to the US from Ukraine 1951 and my grandmother who is now 83 loves listening to the news. I think she will really enjoy this.

Readers of your Ukrainian Blog might also be interested in the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in the heart of the Ukrainian Village. There is a great exhibit on display there now from the Orange Revolution. You can get more info at their website www.uima-art.org.
